Kinostar Filmverleih
About us
We bring films to the big screen – and beyond. Meet Kinostar Film Distribution.
Independent film distribution from Stuttgart
Films bring people together.
Kinostar Filmverleih GmbH is an independent film distributor in Germany. Our programme brings together Hollywood productions, Turkish-language box-office hits and distinctive European films.
As well as Germany, Kinostar distributes films in countries including Austria, the Netherlands, France, the United Kingdom and Belgium. We accompany films from their theatrical release through to home entertainment.
Alongside our own titles, we release films for other distributors and licensors. Our partners include EuroVideo, Telepool and KSM.
Theatrical releases
Hollywood productions, European cinema and new stories: a diverse programme for the big screen.
Turkish cinema
Turkish-language hits are an integral part of our programme. Kinostar has received several Bogey Awards for successful releases.
Home entertainment
Enjoy films at home, too: our programme includes video on demand, DVD and Blu-ray releases.
Event cinema
We bring ballet, opera and special stage performances to the big screen as cinema experiences.
